How to prepare for Enem: three golden tips
Share
The National High School Exam (ENEM) 2022 will be held on November 13th and 20th and it is very important to know how to prepare for the tests.
The main tips are related to establishing a study routine and organizing the topics to be studied.
It is important to know that preparation needs to start at least a few months in advance, in order to be able to study all the topics.
Looking for classes at a prep course can be a great help, since teachers can give very specific tips for each subject. Most of them are already familiar with the topics that are always covered in each area of study.
Here, we have gathered the main tips given by teachers who have been preparing students for the Enem for several years and are considered fundamental.
Create a study routine
This is certainly the most valuable tip, since it is essential to have dedication and discipline in your preparation. The results will not fall from the sky and there is no magic trick. It takes hours and hours of study to cover all the necessary content.
To do this, establish a study routine. But be realistic. There’s no point in creating a schedule of seven hours of study per day, knowing that you will only have four free hours per day, on average.
If you only have four hours, dedicate yourself to the maximum in that time. If you have trouble concentrating, for example, you can divide that time into “shifts” of one hour or 30 minutes, taking five-minute breaks.
During this break, take a walk, take a deep breath, go to the bathroom, stretch... It's really a time to relax. Then, resume studying with full focus.
Solve Enem questions
Another very common tip given by teachers is the need to solve questions from previous exams. It is certainly one of the best ways to prepare for the exam.
One of the tips is, for example, if you have four hours to study per day, dedicate half of that time to theoretical study and half to solving questions.
But it is important not to answer random questions from any exam. Answer the most recent Enem exams to familiarize yourself with the model and style of questions.
At least once, pretend to answer the test as if you were actually taking the exam. This will help you with the test time and strategies for the question.
Practice writing
This can make all the difference when it comes to the test, and you can't fail the essay. Remember to write at least one essay every 15 days during your preparation.
Ideally, you should do it at least once a week. Ask a teacher to correct it and, if necessary, redo it. You can also see examples of successful essays!
Rest!
Many students underestimate the importance of rest when preparing for a test. It is essential to have some leisure time at least once a week and a few hours a day. Your mind needs to relax in order to learn better! Good luck with your studies and have a great test at the end of the year.
