Anhangabaú Valley: cultural program for July/2023

The Anhangabaú Valley is a major highlight in downtown São Paulo, making it practically impossible to pass through the region without seeing it. The place has been the stage for several demonstrations, artistic performances and has also hosted renowned events such as the Virada Cultural.

Furthermore, the events that take place there are generally free, which provides entertainment for the general population, facilitating access to culture for people from different social classes.

In order to provide the population with access to the cultural programming for the month of July in Vale do Anhangabaú, we decided to create this article. Follow along to stay up to date!

July/2023 Schedule

Located in the Historic Center of São Paulo, between the Viaduto do Chá and the Viaduto Santa Ifigênia, the Vale do Anhangabaú is an imposing public space, dividing the new center from the old center of São Paulo.

To start the month of July 2023, on the eighth, Vale do Anhangabaú will host Centrão Massive (Bar do Peba), an event featuring reggae music, created by Reggae is The Force Crew.

On July 23rd, the neighborhood will host the Walk Like Madd event: running, walking, cycling and kids' race. The start will be in Vale do Anhangabaú and will feature the following modalities:

• Race: 8km and 4km
• Walk: 4km
• Kids race: 4 to 12 years old
• Cycling tour: 8km

And heading towards the end of the month, on the twenty-ninth of July, there will be the Dennis SP Ball - The Biggest Ball in the World.

Walk Like Madd - Brazil Stage

The Walk Like Madd - Palco Brasil event in Vale do Anhangabaú is a major fundraising event for the mission to raise awareness about drunk driving, combat drug use and support victims of violent crimes, as well as warn about underage drinking.

With well-defined modalities, after registering and securing entry, participants receive:

1. Adult Kit

Registration fee: R$ 30.00 + fees

• 1 t-shirt;
• 1 bag;
• 1 chest number;
• 1 timing chip (only for race participants);
• 1 medal (for all participants, upon arrival).

2. Children's Kit

Registration fee: R$ 30.00 + fees

• 1 t-shirt;
• 1 bag;
• 1 chest number;
• 1 medal (for all children, upon arrival).

In addition, the award will occur as follows:

4km and 8km race

• 1st to 3rd place: Trophy
• Medal for all participants

Walk 4km

• Medal for all participants

Kids Race

• Medal for all participants

Cycling tour

• Medal for all participants

Dennis's Dance - Sao Paulo

The most anticipated funk ball for the month of July has arrived in São Paulo, in Vale do Anhangabaú, with two event areas: Premium dance floor and dance floor.

At the Premium Track, you will have a privileged view of the stage and access via Rua Líbero Badaró, as well as having exclusive entrance, bars and bathrooms. At the Track, you will find exclusive bars and bathrooms, with access via Praça Ramos de Azevedo.
