The objective of Futuro da Cultura is to bring together intelligence and creative sectors to stimulate economic and cultural development and propose public policies in the greater center of São Paulo.

“This August event is a movement to launch an idea and show that the creative economy occurs when culture interacts with other areas,” highlights the deputy secretary of culture Patrícia Penna.

The State can and should collaborate to develop the creative potential that exists in the cities of São Paulo and this discussion is more than timely, given the economic crisis the country is going through,” he adds.

In view of this, the Future in Culture event, which focuses on the creative economy in downtown SP, will feature spaces from entities, universities and coworking spaces with startups showcasing innovative solutions for culture and the creative economy of all.

In general, some startups operate with Virtual and Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain (technology that provides virtual currency or bitcoin).

Furthermore, there will be stages for street music performances and/or even a hackday (the opposite version of a hackathon, a marathon that brings together young developers to increase access to the SP Estado da Cultura platform).
